Delicate Jewels + Giveaway

Recently came across this amazing hand made shop, Lisa Leonard Designs. I have really been into delicate jewels and layering, so their designs really spoke to me.

Most of the designs can be customized to say whatever you want. I got the From Every Side Necklace and put a word my husband and I made up on one side and our wedding date on another. I left two sides blank so I could wear it with print or with out. It stacks so well with my other necklaces, I really don't take it off. Here are a few of my other fave's from their store.

This weekend I was down in Dallas for a blogger conference. It is so green and beautiful right now, everything is in full bloom. Dallas has a special little place in my heart because it's where I met my hubby, so it was fun being back in our old stomping grounds.

I wore this look for one of the dinner events we had the first night. I found it online a couple weeks ago and immediately fell in love. I'm really drawn to the mirrored pattern trend right now. What do you guys think of the trend? Have you tried it?

I think this shirt might actually be a boys shirt, but I like it. A little tip when wearing oversized tees. Roll up the sleeves in a thin feminine roll to give it a softer look.

I have had a lot of people asking about these sunglasses. When I bought them a couple months ago, I ordered them in both colors with the intention of returning which ever one I liked less. But.... I loved them both and now have them in black and tortoise. They are such a great classic shade. I love the tortoise for Spring, it goes with everything.

Relaxed

1. Top/ 2. Bag/ 3. Denim/ 4. Sandals

Casual, relaxed outfit for running errands or weekends. Boyfriend jeans and oversized sweaters and tees are my favorite for lazy days. What are your go to pieces?

Flats

Top. Vince (similar here) / Denim. Joe's Jeans / Flats. J. Crew / Glasses. Karen Walker
Bracelets. ILY, J. Crew, Alex Bitar / Bag. Gift (similar  and here)

I really don't wear flats that much unless they are sneakers or sandals, but when I saw these I immediately fell in love. You all know I am sucker for neon. I love how they add the little stripe of neon on the back so no matter what angle the shoes are seen, your sporting a pop of highlighter yellow.  Swoon!

One of my best friends came to visit this weekend. We had a such great weekend of shopping, facials and spa time, yummy food, and girl talk. She got me this amazing gorgeous bag. I'm obsessed! Now, if only she lived closer so we could share closets. I think we bought all of the same things :)

Headband 4 Ways + Giveaway

Today I have teamed up with Lemons & Lace to offer a couple lucky readers a headband of their choice and some cute bows. I love wearing headbands especially when it's hot and I want to keep my hair out of my face. Today I am showing 4 easy ways to wear your favorite bands.

1. Hair Down
When I wear headbands with my hair down I put it on like a crown, so the band goes over my hair. I always off center the center of the band so the focal point (in this case the knot) is to the side and not dead center on my head. Do a mini part in the front and then brush your hair back for the last 3/4ths of your dome, it helps create volume.

2. Messy Bun
I love a good top knot. Throwing a headband over to help keep fly aways from falling down gives it a good polished look. You can see my how to video on messy buns here

3. Low Bun
For this look, I  start with my hair down and brush it over my ears. Place the headband over your head (crown look again) and gather your hair in a messy bun on the opposite side of the center headband detail. I always pull a couple pieces out of the bun after to shape around my face so it looks loose and unfinished.

4. High Pony
I always put the headband on first when sporting a high pony. This look works better when your hair is a couple days unwashed and has that messy look. I never use a brush when I'm doing a messy pony. Gather your hair (bumps and all) and put in your elastic. Loosen the hair in between the headband and your pony then tighten the elastic again. This helps create bumps and gives it a raw look.

Which way is your favorite? How else do you style your bands?

If you are still looking for the perfect Spring band, you can get this cute band from Lemon's and Lace here.  They are offering 15% off storewide for all Hello Fash readers so you can snatch a couple up for a good deal! Enter code: HELLOLEMONS at checkout.
