Cable Knit from Sweater to Dress

DETAILS:
Abercrombie and Fitch: Cable Knit Sweater / Fur Parka / Flannel (all c/o) / Tury Burch Riding Boots / Karen Walker Sunglasses / ILY Legwarmers

I love when I can transition a piece into two different looks. This grey cable knit is so warm and cozy I've worn it twice this week. Since being pregnant it seems like anything oversized is my favorite. A&F has recently revamped their brand, so be sure to check out their big Black Friday event Thursday starting at 8 p.m.  I have my eye on a few more sweaters I'm looking to snag for the family for Christmas :)

* This post is brought to you from Abercrombie and Fitch all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Princess Tulle

DETAILS:
Leith Sweater (similar here) / Anthropologie Skirt c/o (similar here) / Kurt Geiger Heels (old loving these / budget friendly here)
Gigi New York Clutch c/o / Sunglasses / ILY Crystal Necklace

I actually wore this outfit a couple weeks ago for a blogger tea party event. I'm completely in love with the lace and tulle. Growing up I was such a tomboy, I never played dress up. My mom used to force me into girly things and it didn't come with out a fight. It wasn't until high school I grew out of my awkward stage and found my love for fashion. This princess tulle skirt is the inner child in me that skipped her ballerina years. We all like a good excuse to play dress up, right? :)

Outfit Envy: The Hunt

Happy Friday everyone! I couldn't be more excited for the weekend. I feel so exhausted this week. I love the holidays but it always seems like your twice as busy right?

One of my favorite Sunday rituals is browsing through Pinterest. I love getting inspiration for outfits, decorating, and crafting. I hate when I find something I love, click on it, and it takes me to a page that doesn't tell me where the item is from. I end up spending the next couple hours googling the most random things hoping to find the item I want. Or have you been on Instagram and seen someone's outfit but it doesn't say where it's from? That's why I am so thankful for The Hunt. It's basically the cure for outfit envy.

With a network of over 500,000 users, you just upload the picture of the item your looking for and people can help you find where it's from. Below are a couple items I hadn't been able to find until I put them in The Hunt.

Miranda Kerr - perfect as always. The Hunt helped me find her calf hair tote

Loving this cozy laid back outfit. Found the socks here & here

They just relaunched their iPhone app with a fresh new feel, so you can hunt while your on the go. You can download it for free here and follow my hunts here

Happy Hunting!

BLACK FUR

DETAILS:
Anthropologie Fur Moto Jacket / Merona Tee / Liquid Leggings (old similar under $40 here) / Leopard Christian Louboutin Heels (similar on sale budget friendly here) / Celine Bag (loving this under $70)

Up until about three days ago I thought this week was Thanksgiving lol. That whole thing about losing your mind when your pregnant - it's not a wives tale, it's truth! My mind I swear doesn't work the same right now.

Today we are doing having a pre-Thanksgiving party with our friends. The traditional Thanksgiving meal (turkey, green bean casserole, potatoes, and rolls) is hands down one of my favorites. So I'll put together any excuse to have it more than once. Can't wait!

COZY DRIVE

Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a good start to the week. I am a day behind on posts this week, the kids were sick with strep and colds all weekend so we started our Christmas movie marathon, played Candy land and High Ho Cherry-o about 30 times, and wrote letters to Santa. It's  not even Thanksgiving and I have major Holiday fever. I can't wait!

With the holidays around the corner we all have the opportunity to help those in need.  I am excited to team up with Anthropologie today and help spread the word about their Cozy Drive. Donate a lightly worn children's or women's sweater to your local Anthropologie and receive a $10 gift card toward your in store purchase of a new sweater, pullover, or coat (below are a couple of my Anthro favorites). All sweaters are donated to a local charity, women's shelter, community center, etc., chosen by each store. It's a quick easy way to give back. The drive runs through this Sunday (11/24) so be sure to collect a couple sweaters and stop by.

MEN'S GIFT GUIDE

One of my favorite things about the Holidays is giving people gifts. I love buying things for people! Especially when it comes to my Dad and Cody, I always get them at least a couple pieces of apparel to go with their other gifts. I like to pick out nicer items, I know they may not take the time to buy themselves. For my Dad he loves a good dress shirt. He's picky about the fabric and the buttons on the collar so this Peter Millar one was the perfect combo of all the things he looks for. Cody on the other hand, has been looking for a good sports coat to wear with jeans. I'm loving this wool blazer because it totally has that casual yet sleek rugged man look. I'm thinking paired with a beanie and desert boots or just a nice dress shirt for a date night.

Overall I am just so excited to start the holiday shopping! Who are you most excited to shop for on your list?

Instagram Finds

Every month I like to share with you a few snaps from my Instagram and where to find the most asked about items.
My first baby bump snap. It was like overnight I suddenly started to show. A lot of you were asking about this striped bodycon dress. Honestly I have had it since my freshman year of college, so it's about 6-7 years old! I love those basic, classic pieces that last forever. It seems like my stripe pieces never make it to the giveaway pile no matter how old they are :)  Below are a few similar bodycon styles:

Fur Parka / Beanie (on sale)
Cody and I snuck away to Denver this weekend for the Rihanna concert (she's my favorite!). We found this cute little area by accident, Larimer Square. If your visiting Denver you should for sure make your way over there, especially at night. They have it strung with white lights like Christmas and there are about 20 fun little shops and restaurants. We went in this candy store that had 50 different types of root beer. They were in the old vintage bottles, so we picked a couple new flavors to try. Bulldog Root beer is amazing! You need to try :)

Haute Hippe Black and Gold Jacket (similar sale one here and here) / Haute Hippie Embellished Ivory Jacket (similar budget friendly here)

West Elm Faux Fur Blanket (similar here also loving this cozy throw)
The Beggar: Mio is the ultimate mooch when it comes to food. You could give him 20 cups of dog food and he would still beg for more snacks. I have to admit it's pretty hard to say no to his cute little face that he almost always gets a few crumbs of our treats, so I guess it's probably my fault he begs since we cave in to the pouty eyes :)

Utah Fall.
This really has nothing to do with clothes, but I know I have mentioned it quite a bit the last couples weeks how truly beautiful it has been here. The bright bold colors of the leaves are now turning brown and winter is starting to settle in. Can't wait for the snow frosted trees now!

CASUAL RED

DETAILS:
Tan Wool Coat (also loving this one) / Red Sweater (old similar cable knit here) / Flannel (old similar here) / Liquid Leggings (old similar here) / Converse Sneakers /  Karen Walker Sunglasses / Fur Scarf

Quick post today. We just got back from Denver last night and I'm playing catch up getting organized for the week.

As I mentioned last week I would be sharing a different collection of my favorite pieces from the Nordstrom Sale to help with ideas as you begin eyeing holiday gifts and new seasonal pieces for yourself. Today's collection is classic designer handbags and wallets. I am in need of a good neutral beige satchel. I can't take my eyes off this Marc Jacobs one.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

SEQUIN HOODIE + ASTARS GIVEAWAY

TGIF! The little baby bump is slowly growing. I have been hiding it under loose layers for comfort but it's getting to the point even the loose layers are showing it a bit. I think maternity style is officially here now :)

Today I am teaming up with Denise Focil again to showcase her other beautiful line ASTARS. You probably remember this amazing leather jacket from the last giveaway. Her lines mixes edgy pieces with luxury knits. Each piece is designed to be worn day or night, relaxed enough to lounge in, yet sophisticated enough to dress up for a night out. ASTARS is all about tailored, yet relaxed sophistication. The line is a favorite among stylish celebs like Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, and Alessandra Ambrosio.

This week you all have a chance to win this sequin hoodie from today's look. It is so soft and I love the glam sequin detailing to add a sparkly accent. Follow the rafflecopter links below to enter.

Have a great weekend!

Black and White Mix

CLOTHES:
Stripe Top (similar herehere) / Zara Tweed Jacket (old similar here) / Joe's Jeans / Suede Boots (budget version here
ACCESSORIES:
Black and white, it's the classic combo I can't get enough of. I love taking basic outfits and pairing them with bold statement jewelry to accent the simplicity. I would be lying if I didn't tell you my pants were unzipped for these pictures though. No not by accident, I just can't find maternity pants I like. Does anyone have suggestions?? I have resorted to the rubber band trick and layering long t-shirts to hide my McGiver attempt at keeping my pants buttoned, but I'm in some desperate need of some new pants!

Yesterday Nordstrom started their Half Yearly Sale, which means it shopping time! These boots I've worn in this post and this one, are now 40% off! I'm jealous you guys have the chance to get them now at half the price! They have so many other great sale items 20-40% off so it's the perfect time to find some holiday items for everyone on your list (and sneak some things in for yourself too :) before the Black Friday Rush.  Below are a few of my sale favorites. Next week I will be sharing a collection of sale pieces each day to help with your Holiday shopping.
Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale
Puffer Down Coat / Peacock Porcelain Coasters / Loeffer Randal Flats
