Hey Boyfriend

DETAILS.

Hope you all had a good weekend! I am a little late posting today - got home yesterday afternoon from a conference in Texas and took the night off to hang out with the fam. You may notice I am a tad bit orange, sometimes spray tans get the best of you :) I swear the first two days of my spray tan are always a little more "colorful" than I want but then they fade - or maybe I just convince myself they do. Anyone else have that problem?

A couple posts ago I mentioned my new love for Rag & Bone denim. These boyfriend shorts are another one of those pieces I can't get enough of. The fit is perfectly tailored. They are loose with out being too slouchy to lose your shape. Distressed boyfriend shorts are a spring/summer closet staple. Below are a few more of my favorite boyfriend shorts:

Also Nordstrom is having a major sale (20-40% off) on watches right now. I am a bit of a watch collector. Almost all the ones I have featured on the blog are on sale now, below are a few or you can see the full sale here.

Have a great night!

Mamahood

I love getting dressed up for Easter. This year I kind of splurged on a dress because it was B's first holiday. I had the hardest time finding an outfit for Beckam though. There is like no newborn dress clothes for boys. My cousin saved the day and got him these cute little knit overalls and they worked perfect.

My little Easter boy

Mama Shirt / Linen Pink Blazer (old similar here) /  Boyfriend Jeans / Christian Louboutin Heels / Marc Jacobs Bag

Last week was my first day in heels post baby! I've been living in flats lately, but it felt good to throw on the Louie's and dress up a casual outfit. Also showing a little Mama pride with this graphic Mami tee

B is hands down the highlight of my life, but you mom's know it's still exhausting. I have been running on about 4-5 hours of sleep each day. It was nice to have a little me time and enjoy a mini spa day last week. My friends had been telling me about this place (Spa Trouve) so my girlfriend and I took the evening and got pampered.

Converse and skinny jeans: the two pieces of clothing I use over and over when B's not in pajamas. The mini converse stay on so good. I have always heard people talk about how there is no point to baby shoes because they always fall off but with the high tops they stay on and they're really easy to slide on their feet. Nordstrom has a great selection of colors.  As for jeans, I've tried a couple different brands, but always go back to the GAP ones because of the fit. These skinnies are still a little loose on him but they don't look like he's swimming in them.

Slim Boyfriend Jean / Waffle Sweater (on sale! size up ) / Dolce Vita Sneaker / Panama Hat (old similar here)

Rag & Bone has become one of my favorite brands post baby. I hadn't tried their denim until a couple weeks ago and it is so comfortable. I've gotten two pairs of their pants and a pair of shorts and basically live in them.

He's a happy little dude when he's in the stroller. That and the car are like his favorite spots. I think he likes the movement it always puts him to sleep in like .2 seconds.

Since I was home 75% of the time last month I went on a flower buying binge. Every time I went to the grocery store I came home with flowers. My husband kept teasing me because our house was over run with flowers, but I was like if I'm gonna be home all day I at least want it to be feel fresh and bright!

B still sleeps next to our bed, but I try to put him in his crib every day for at least 30 minutes so he starts getting familiar with it. Usually he just stares at the walls and looks around but once in a blue moon he will actually fall asleep in there :)

Hope you all had a Happy Easter! Most of these shots were from my Instagram you can follow along daily here @hellofashionblog

White Out

DETAILS.
Trouve Top (on sale!) / Rag & Bone Pants (25% off - INTHEFAMILY14) / Converse Sneakers / Celine Bag / Karen Walker Sunglasses (25% off - INTHEFAMILY14) / YSL Lipstick / ILY Earrings / Pave Bracelet / Thumb Ring / Merona Watch

I have been drawn towards classic pieces lately, white being one of the big eye catchers for me. I liked the texture of this white transparent top because it creates a little dimension to the basic white on white outfit.

Don't forget today is the last day of Shopbop's 25% off sale. A lot of stuff has sold out but there is still some really cute stuff!

Kids Shoes: Baby + Mom

BABY BOY.

BABY GIRL.

I think baby/toddler shoes are one of my favorite things to buy. One because I just love shoes, and two because their mini size just makes them ten times cuter. Nordstrom has always been my go to for classic kids shoes like Converse,  Hunters, and NikeThese were actually Beckam's first pair of shoes and they stay on so well even being a size big. I'm also obsessed with these mini Lebron's they just got for Spring. I have to get Beckam a pair to match his Dad.

I know I have mentioned it a couple times, but I totally buy kids shoes for myself. I am a women's size 8 and get a 6 in kids. You can save a few bucks on shoes they make in both adults and kids and a lot of times they have brighter color options like pinks and neons in kids sizes verses adults. You probably remember the mint hunters I've worn on my blog and Instagram a lot (they are kids shoes). I'm loving this pink pair. I think they are next on my list. Also these cute jelly Burberry's are only $75.

Magic

DETAILS.
GAP Sweater (on sale!) / Pink Scarf (on sale) /  Rag and Bone Jeans /  Perforated Slip on (under $70) / Rebecca Minkoff Bag (also loving this) / Pave Ring

The magic of an oversized scarf is it hides baby spit up, or the food you spill on your sweater as you try to multitask feeding yourself and your baby at the same time [yes both of these stains are hiding under my scarf- should I not be admitting that :) ]. My style has definitely become more casual post baby. These slip ons may now be the comfiest shoes I own - I'm going on three days in a row wearing them. It's such a change for me coming off a high heel obsession, but I've had to adjust to a more practical wardrobe. Below are a few more slip ons on my wish list:

Hope you all are having a great week!

At Home with B

DETAILS.
Nordstrom Top (old similar here) / Current Elliot Denim (old similar here & under $50 here) / Keds Shoes  / Citron Scarf / Michael Kors Watch / ILY Cigar Ring // Beckam's Swaddle Wrap

The numbers so far.
Age. 2 weeks 5 days
Weight. 8lbs 14 ounces
Length. 21.6 inches
[95th percentile for his age! He is a long boy, sadly he has already out grown most of his newborn clothes]
Diapers. 8-10 a day

I can't believe Beckam is already almost 3 weeks old. It's going by way too fast. He still has no pattern for sleeping or eating. I think I am as much trying to figure out a new routine as he is. It all still feels pretty surreal. I feel like I'm still in the "honeymoon" stage where I'm just so infatuated with him it doesn't bug me changing 10 diapers a day or waking up multiple times in the middle of the night to feed him. The crying still freaks me out though. I have always been uneasy around crying babies and it's still that way with my own. I always rush down to Cody in a panic like am I doing something wrong, why is he still crying? I'm still going through the learning curve, but I couldn't be more excited about this new chapter in our life.

Loving the perforated trend this Spring. I had a hard time picking a style, Sole Society has so many cute options right now. I ordered these pre-baby and now I'm thinking I may need to invest in this flat version as well :) Below are a few more of my favorites:
