Most of these pieces are old, staple items I've had for years. A basic color palette of blues, for a casual look. 

There's quiet, peaceful rainy days I enjoy, but cold rainy days after 90 degree days are not my favorite. So maybe my subconscious spoke to me when I got dressed this morning, because I was experiencing a little rain blues :)

I love the print on this Target dress. To be completely honest it does wrinkle kind of easy. I steamed it before I left in the morning and by the end of the day (photo time) it was wrinkly in the front. The pockets and the print suckered me in and I'm still glad I got it.

How was your Memorial Weekend? We took the kids to Vegas for the first time. They were so mesmerized by the lights and big buildings. It's so fun seeing their faces light up with new experiences.

1. RED. WHITE. & BLUE. Memorial Day and Fourth of July are great times to sport your patriotic red, white, and blue. The holiday's are so close together you can get sale pieces now for the holiday coming up. My favorite "Americana" pieces:

2. WEDGES. If you haven't got your summer wedges, now is the time. Wedges are perfect for shopping, going out with your friends, or a hot date with your significant other. 95% of the time they are pretty comfortable for long periods of time because your not putting all your weight on a skinny heel. It's that time. SWIM SUIT SHOPPING! I am not normally a one piece kind of girl but this suit is just too cute. When creating your "swim suit look" pull some of the more subtle colors of your suit to create more contrast and attention to the details of your print. In this case, I paired the turquoise romper to accent the geometric print of the aztec.

So in my moments of indecisiveness you guys pulled through {again} and I went with the white vest (thanks for all your input!). I am so in love. It has two slits in the front that give it a little edge. I feel like it will match so match and be a great transition piece for the seasons.

Transitioning your Spring to Summer wardrobe is a little easier than Winter to Spring. The sun is out and you are already sporting color and some leg. 

My key pieces for the seasons would be:

1. Some Great Aviators:

Love Tory Burch's tortoise accent on the classic aviator. Tortoise is hot this year

2. A Pastel Handbag: 

Mint, mint, mint, this color always catches my eye and I love the side zippers to give it some edge.

3. A Bright Skirt:

Neons (especially pink) make you look tanner and instantly brighten your mood. Don't be afraid of bright color.

4. Flat's with Sass:

 You can't go wrong with these gorgeous shoes.

My heart melted when I found these shoes. It's sad that I honestly get this excited for a pair of shoes but it's true. About 2-3 weeks ago I saw these shoes on Pinterest, but the link to the picture was not to the person's blog or store where they were from (don't you hate when that happens?!).

I literally couldn't stop thinking about them. I looked on every online store I could think of, typed in every random phrase in Google, Polyvore, and Pinterest, NOTHING. I got so desperate I decided to post the image I found on Pinterest on Instagram, and that's where you guys came to save the day. Within 10 minutes I had two people messaging me to let me know where they were from. HALLELUJAH! These babies are finally mine. Thank you thank you to those who helped on the hunt!!
