99% of my shopping trips this month have resulted in me coming home with some sort of oversized top, sweater, or knit. If it's baggy, loose, or comfy, I'm sold. There is just something about winter and  soft, oversized sweaters that brings a sort of nostalgia. It reminds me of Montana where I grew up, not sure why, but like they say, there is no place like home (or sweaters).

What's your comfort piece of apparel that makes you feel at home?

Hope you all had a great Turkey Weekend! The Andrew household was full of card games, lots of pie, and too many dishes. My family was in town from Montana. So great having them, it's funny the older you get the more you appreciate your family.

Thursday night we hit a couple sales, and it was CHAOS. There wasn't too much we were really looking for, it is just tradition for Cody and I to go out and we love people watching. You are guaranteed to see a little crazy when people are scramming for a deal :)

Did you guys score anything good?

I have had a lot of people ask where I get the kids clothes so in the next couple weeks we will be doing a make over on the blog and expanding to a family fashion blog. I thought a few snaps from our family photos a couple weeks ago would be a good place to start. Picking my families outfits maybe more of a passion then shopping for myself! I love getting things for other people, especially kids clothes, all things that small are just way too cute. Most of the posts will still primarily be my outfits, but  once or twice a week I will feature the kids or my husbands get-up too.

Thanks so much for reading!

Jeweled Top: F21
Polka Dot Top: Old Navy
Jacket: F21
Skirt: James Perse (old)

I love wearing skirts, but sometimes I feel like skirts can seem "over-dressy" for day to day wear.
How you wear the rest of your layers I think defines the feel of the outfit. I tried to dress this down a little by leaving my shirt untucked and throwing a moto jacket over it to make it feel a little more laid back.

Cargo Lime

Lime Sweater: Target: Merona (so soft and cozy!)
Jacket: J. Crew Factory (old)
Denim: F21

Leg Warmers: c/o Riesh

Riesh is doing a huge special for Hello Fashion readers, 50% off leg warmers this week only.
(code: HELLOFASH)  I wear leg warmers almost everyday in the winter if I'm not wearing heels. Sometimes I peep them out of the top of my boots, if they match my outfit, or I just use them as an extra layer hidden under my boots to stay warm.

I still can't believe how fast the weather changed here. I've found myself enjoying the snow more than usual :) Happy Wednesday!

Sweatshirt: ILY COUTURE
Pants: GAP similar here
Boots: Target (old)

It has been snowing like crazy here in Utah. It feels like the holidays, I love it. We were so lazy all weekend, for the first time in so long I shut everything off. Sunday we did absolutely nothing but eat junk food, watch movies, and cuddle by the fireplace. A full day of nothing. So refreshing.
