Neon Weekend Shorts

OUTFIT DETAILS.
Mami Shirt// Neon Shorts (under $15) // Neon Nikes (color grey/green/mango - also worn in this post)// H&M Sunglasses// Rebecca Minkoff Mini Tote// ILY Ring // MAC Lipstick

These neon shorts have been on repeat at least two-three days a week at my house lately. I got them a couple months ago before we went to Disneyland. I was so in love with them I ordered three more pairs (pink, black, and yellow). I love when you find a good staple item at a good price and just stock up. I always worry I won't be able to find something like it again so I like to get multiple colors :) Do you guys do that too? I also just ordered these cute sweatpant shorts. I love the cuff roll on them, so bummed the neon yellow ones are sold out.

A couple of you emailed asking for a direct link to these Nike's last time I wore them. The link above is the right link, but if you are viewing them from your cell phone, Nordstrom mobile site makes you choose the size before it shows the color option. So click on your size and then the color options will appear below. The color I have is grey/green/mango. Hope that helps :)

Cynthia Rowley

DETAILS.
Cynthia Rowley Dress / Prabal Gurung Heels (old similar here)
Karen Walker Sunglasses/  ILY Earrings
Photos by JessaKae Photography

I have taken the plunge to blonde! It's a little harder to tell in these pics with my hair back but the ends are super light. I had been debating it for years and my husband called me out saying I always chicken out so I of course had to prove him wrong :)  I've heard Mom's go through that "need for change" moment post baby, so maybe Beckam is the real reason behind the lighter locks, but either way I'm having fun with the change.

My love for Cynthia Rowley began when I found the cutest Pineapple dish from her home collection.  I have been anxious to try her apparel, all of the pieces have bright unique patterns and prints, but this dress just spoke to me. I love the classic colors and the material is so comfortable. How gorgeous are these leggings too? Can't wait to add more of her collection to my wardrobe.

Hey Boyfriend

DETAILS.

Hope you all had a good weekend! I am a little late posting today - got home yesterday afternoon from a conference in Texas and took the night off to hang out with the fam. You may notice I am a tad bit orange, sometimes spray tans get the best of you :) I swear the first two days of my spray tan are always a little more "colorful" than I want but then they fade - or maybe I just convince myself they do. Anyone else have that problem?

A couple posts ago I mentioned my new love for Rag & Bone denim. These boyfriend shorts are another one of those pieces I can't get enough of. The fit is perfectly tailored. They are loose with out being too slouchy to lose your shape. Distressed boyfriend shorts are a spring/summer closet staple. Below are a few more of my favorite boyfriend shorts:

Also Nordstrom is having a major sale (20-40% off) on watches right now. I am a bit of a watch collector. Almost all the ones I have featured on the blog are on sale now, below are a few or you can see the full sale here.

Have a great night!

Magic

DETAILS.
GAP Sweater (on sale!) / Pink Scarf (on sale) /  Rag and Bone Jeans /  Perforated Slip on (under $70) / Rebecca Minkoff Bag (also loving this) / Pave Ring

The magic of an oversized scarf is it hides baby spit up, or the food you spill on your sweater as you try to multitask feeding yourself and your baby at the same time [yes both of these stains are hiding under my scarf- should I not be admitting that :) ]. My style has definitely become more casual post baby. These slip ons may now be the comfiest shoes I own - I'm going on three days in a row wearing them. It's such a change for me coming off a high heel obsession, but I've had to adjust to a more practical wardrobe. Below are a few more slip ons on my wish list:

Hope you all are having a great week!

Neutral Lace

DETAILS.
Blush Tank / Lace top / AG Maternity Jeans (same non maternity style here / love these too) / Chelsea28 Trench Coat / Patent Leather Clutch / Karen Walker Sunglasses/ Michael Kors Watch / ILY Rings (here/ here/ here) /

It's a little surreal thinking this was my last outfit shot with the bump. Last weekend Cody and I welcomed our new baby boy to the world, Cody Beckam Andrew, 7lbs 14 ounces.

I just can't get enough of his little face :)

I recently found a new line at Nordstrom, Chelsea28, and it has become one of my favorites. I have been looking for a versatile lace piece for Spring and this top was the perfect find. This lace coat is another item I got for Spring I'm excited to wear. I just love all their classic neutral tone pieces.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Drape Cardigan

DETAILS.
Black and White Stripe Tank / AStars Cardigan [old in love with this] / AG Maternity Jeans [same non maternity here] / White Converse / Celine Bag [similar here] / Michael Kors Watch / Pave Disc Necklace / Circle and Dot Necklace / ILY Ring

I feel like my style is becoming more and more casual as I get closer to my due date. Only 2 and half more weeks until my official due, which really means this little guy could come at any time. I feel like as I transition into a full time mom comfortable layers will become more of my daily style.

I have been eyeing this drape cardigan every time I go in Nordstrom and finally caved in and ordered it. I love the loose look of a long oversized sweater. This grey heathered one is a super cute budget buy. Below are a few more of favorites:

Also I will be getting together with some of my friends this Saturday from 10-12pm for a Fashion Blogger Market. We will all be selling a lot of our clothes from designer to budget brands. Make sure and come by and say Hi :)

Laced Up

DETAILS.
Chambray Top [old loving this one] / Zara Stripped Skirt [old similar here & loving this] /
Sole Society Heels / ILY Necklace / Yellow Bag [similar under $80 here]

Shoes are usually one of the first things that catch my eye in an outfit. Lace up heels and strappy details have always been my favorite. You can't help but feel confident and chic when you're walking in a new pair of shoes :) I had been searching for a good navy pair of heels for Spring, when I stumbled upon these ones from Sole Society. I was really impressed at the comfort and quality for the price. I'm excited to pair them with some white distressed denim for Spring.

I think my next pair will be these cute flats (yes I'm slowly accepting the fact that life with a new baby will probably be more flats than heels :)

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Springing into Dresses

DETAILS.
Eliza J Dress / Harlowe and Graham Stripe Jacket / Tory Burch Purse (obsessed!) / Zara Heels (old similar here, open toe version here) / ILY Bracelet / Tortoise Sunglasses

As I mentioned a couple posts ago, navy is one of the big colors this season. I was immediately drawn to this stripe dress because of the lace detailing on the sleeve and contrast red zipper. The details make it so much more than just a basic navy stripe dress, but it's versatile enough I know it will get a lot of wear.

We have finally had a couple gorgeous Spring days here in Utah. Nothing puts me in a better mood than waking up to a warm sunny morning. Of course with the season change means wardrobe change. I have been so anxious to start wearing Spring dresses, I have kind of been on a dress buying binge. A couple weeks ago I ordered this ombre maxi from Nordstrom, I love that it has pockets. I'm thinking it will be cute paired with a denim jacket until it gets warm enough I can wear it on it's own with like a floppy hat or chunky statement necklace. Then last week I found myself browsing the new arrivals again and ordered this floral and stripe bodycon dress. The more pregnant I get the more I find myself in dresses over jeans. Now I just need the weather to keep staying nice so I can wear these new beauties :)

Here are a few more of my favorites for Spring:
