Happy Halloween! I can't believe October is over. It always seems like the last three months of the year fly by faster than the rest, probably because there is so many fun events to look forward to October - December. 

Are you guys dressing up? I love looking through Instagram and seeing everyone's costumes. Last year Cody and I dressed up as Batman and Cat woman. For the first time since we have been dating we haven't even thought of a costume yet! Life has been so hectic with the baby and work we haven't had time to think about costumes for anyone other than the kids and the dog. I'll have to say dressing Mio up is one of my new favorite things to do. He will wear anything! I think because he knows there is a good treat after so he will do anything for food.

Now on to fuzzy sweaters, you can never have too many soft sweaters! I have been eyeing this furry leopard number for weeks. I was surprised how small it runs though. I ordered a 6 because that was the only size they had left besides a 12 and I expected it to be pretty baggy. It wasn't at all. Maybe my belly is growing quicker than I think, but I could have easily gone with an 8 and been happy. They have restocked all the sizes so I would say order up at least 2-3 sizes if you want it oversized :)

PUPPY PROBLEMS

Hope you all are having a great weekend! I'm throwing out a weekend post because I forgot to publish this one yesterday. 

Pregnant Brain!

So last Christmas Cody bought me this grey boyfriend sweater and it was one of my favorite oversized knits. I love when he picks clothes out for me, they always end up being my favorite items. Anyways, about a week and half ago Mio got snipped and has been stuck wearing one of those cones so he doesn't lick his stitches. He has been a complete hellion! He either A- mopes around the house or B-gets into things he knows he's not supposed to. So Monday night I'm sitting blogging on the couch and I notice he's laying really weird and his stomach is all bloated. Immediately I knew he ate something! I went into my room and found my favorite sweater now sleeveless with only half the body left. No pieces to be found anywhere, he literally ate it! Poor little guy was hurting until he was able to "digest" it out.  

This is my first puppy, so I never knew dogs literally ate clothes or shoes, I always thought that was just a joke!

The days have started cooling off and I couldn't be more excited. I'm so bored with summer clothes. This cozy shrug is one of my favorite pieces from ILY's fall line.  99% of my shopping trips this month have resulted in me coming home with some sort of oversized top, sweater, or knit. If it's baggy, loose, or comfy, I'm sold. There is just something about winter and  soft, oversized sweaters that brings a sort of nostalgia. It reminds me of Montana where I grew up, not sure why, but like they say, there is no place like home (or sweaters).

Hope you all had a great Turkey Weekend! The Andrew household was full of card games, lots of pie, and too many dishes. My family was in town from Montana. So great having them, it's funny the older you get the more you appreciate your family.

Thursday night we hit a couple sales, and it was CHAOS. There wasn't too much we were really looking for, it is just tradition for Cody and I to go out and we love people watching. You are guaranteed to see a little crazy when people are scramming for a deal :)

I have had a lot of people ask where I get the kids clothes so in the next couple weeks we will be doing a make over on the blog and expanding to a family fashion blog. I thought a few snaps from our family photos a couple weeks ago would be a good place to start. Picking my families outfits maybe more of a passion then shopping for myself! I love getting things for other people, especially kids clothes, all things that small are just way too cute. Most of the posts will still primarily be my outfits, but  once or twice a week I will feature the kids or my husbands get-up too.

Beanies are one of my favorite fall/winter accessory. You can dress them up or down, throw it over a bad hair day, they just work with everything. I found this one at Forever a month or so ago, and it is finally getting chilly enough to wear it. I went back to get another color and they are sold out. Online, in stores, gone. I can't believe the holidays are coming around the corner so fast. Halloween was such a blast. This weekend we had a halloween party and the hubs and I went as catwoman and "batman" (yes I put batman in quotes cause I don't remember batman ever having such short shorts) Last night we took the pirate and the mermaid out for some tricker treating and then danced our little hearts out with some friends. I love playing around with makeup so I wanted to try to create a spooky glam face paint. A lot of the mouth detail had faded off by the time I got to taking a picture but you get the idea :)
