Navy and shades of blue are one of the big colors we are seeing this Spring. I love how easy it is to pair with bright colors or pastels. Don't be afraid to mix patterns and textures. They all play well off each other.

Reason 522 I love my sister in law, she surprises me with Christmas sugar cookies while we are out shooting. The way to a pregnant girls heart! 

So I actually saw this version of these stripe shoes last Spring. I fell in love but went back and forth on buying them because I wasn't sure how much they would match. By the time I decided I really liked them and went back to purchase they were sold out. I hate when that happens! I had kind of forgot about them until I stumbled on this budget friendly version last week. I was excited for the find :)

Feathered

When I was in NYC I had the chance to visit the Milly showroom and fell in love with this feathered skirt. They also had a beautiful dress version too, but I felt I could get more wear with the skirt. I have literally been on the hunt for a feathered skirt for two years. I saw a Pinterest picture with this luxe blush feather skirt paired with leather gloves and it has been on my mind ever since so I was excited to finally have my own.

Speaking of things I have been hunting for, I have also been searching for some over the knee boots, and found these black ones this week. I wore them yesterday on Instagram and had a lot of you asking where to find them :) They have the cutest tie in the back, I'm obsessed.

Today is my hubby's birthday! I am a birthday finatic, birthday's last for weeks at our house. We are pretty busy on a day to day basis so I rarely have time to set aside time to cook home cooked meals. I have been waking up extra early this week (5:30 am!) to get all my work done so I can get home and cook him his favorite meals. A special happy birthday to him <3
