This is my first pair of palazzo pants. They are so comfortable it's like wearing sweats all day. I'm really loving these tropical print ones by Trina Turk how cute would they be on the beach? Have you guys tried the wide leg trousers? What are your thoughts?

Happy Friday everyone! This week has been so busy! Wednesday was Mara (my step daughter's) birthday and today is mine. We have been running around getting ready for her party tonight. It's so much more exciting getting ready for kids birthdays then your own :)

I had crazy cramps yesterday and I thought I was going into labor.  I was like crap I can't have three birthdays in a row (Mara, babies, and mine) Thankfully he must have just been moving in a weird position or something and after a couple hours it went away.

I have had quite a few emails lately (I love your emails!) asking about my pregnancy wardrobe. I would say hands down an absolute must is maternity jeans. I have a couple different brands but these Paige ones are so unique because the bands are on the side. Most pregnancy jeans have a large band that goes over your stomach so you don't have a button anymore. These stretch on the side so you still have a button and can tuck in your shirts (you all know I love the half tucked in look :). Needless to say these baggy boyfriend jeans have been on repeat.

Happy Halloween! I can't believe October is over. It always seems like the last three months of the year fly by faster than the rest, probably because there is so many fun events to look forward to October - December. 

Are you guys dressing up? I love looking through Instagram and seeing everyone's costumes. Last year Cody and I dressed up as Batman and Cat woman. For the first time since we have been dating we haven't even thought of a costume yet! Life has been so hectic with the baby and work we haven't had time to think about costumes for anyone other than the kids and the dog. I'll have to say dressing Mio up is one of my new favorite things to do. He will wear anything! I think because he knows there is a good treat after so he will do anything for food.

Now on to fuzzy sweaters, you can never have too many soft sweaters! I have been eyeing this furry leopard number for weeks. I was surprised how small it runs though. I ordered a 6 because that was the only size they had left besides a 12 and I expected it to be pretty baggy. It wasn't at all. Maybe my belly is growing quicker than I think, but I could have easily gone with an 8 and been happy. They have restocked all the sizes so I would say order up at least 2-3 sizes if you want it oversized :)

The days have started cooling off and I couldn't be more excited. I'm so bored with summer clothes. This cozy shrug is one of my favorite pieces from ILY's fall line. Since fall isn't technically here I try to pair my falli-sh pieces with lighter hues so they transition easily between the seasons. What are you most excited to wear for fall?

I'll be honest, I haven't gotten ready the last few days. I've been living in this oversized tee and baggy shorts. The nights have started cooling down so I always throw a blazer in my car to layer up when the chill sets in (or maybe it's my subconscious anxiously waiting to layer up for fall).

Jeans and black pieces are some of the staple items that are easy for me to invest in because I know they will never go out of style. Cody has the hardest time finding fitted V necks that don't go wide at the bottom or aren't too short in the torso. We have tried so many different brands, it was a relief to find these Diesel ones that are fitted and actually keep their shape after you wash them. They are his favorite, and are 40% off right now at Nordstrom's Anniversary sale. I just snagged him another color (size up they run small). 

If you haven't checked out Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale, pre-sale started this week for card holders and opens to the public on the 19th. This is one of my big hauls for Fall shopping. I try to buy as many of my staple items for the season why they are so discounted.

Camo is one of my favorite patterns right now. It fits my edgy side, but it is so easy to dress up. Versatility is essential for me, I swear my fashion moods are bipolar. One day I'm glam, the next I'm urban, channeling my inner love for Rhianna. It's one of my favorite things about fashion, you can express your mood no matter what it may be.

A couple days ago I came home to some beautiful flowers and a sweet card from my hubby. I thought hey what a "great just" because surprise. Still smiling from the thoughtful surprise, I walked into the bedroom and found this little nugget curled up asleep on my bed. I screamed, which then turned into tears of joy. Literally I cried. {in case you don't know me I cry a lot, not like sad crying, like when I get really happy I cry. lol} My first puppy!
